Adare Village & Riverbank Walk

Adare Village and the Riverbank Walk offer an easy way to see one of County Limerick’s most photographed villages on foot. The main street is lined with thatched cottages, stone buildings, shops and pubs, with medieval abbey remains and the Church of Ireland parish church nearby.

The riverbank path follows the River Maigue through green surroundings, giving views of the water and the trees along its edge. It is a gentle, mostly level walk suited to families, and can be combined with a stop for coffee or lunch in the village.
