Profile
Balbriggan Beach is a stretch of sand on the north County Dublin coast, backed by the Irish Sea and reached from the Swords direction along the coastal road and rail line.
It is a straightforward seaside beach for walking, paddling and sea air, with views out across the water and a harbour nearby. Like much of the north Dublin shoreline it is popular with dog walkers and swimmers, and it offers an easy escape from the city without a long journey. Check local signage for current water-quality and bathing information before swimming.
