Ballyheigue Beach

Ballyheigue Beach runs along the coast at Ballyheigue in north County Kerry, a long stretch of sand facing out across Tralee Bay towards the Dingle Peninsula.

It is a fine beach for walking, swimming in the summer season and watching seabirds along the shoreline and dunes. The village sits just above, with the usual seaside amenities, and the views south to the mountains of the Dingle Peninsula are among the best on this stretch of coast.
