Bord Gáis Energy Theatre

The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre stands on Grand Canal Square in Dublin’s Docklands, County Dublin. It is the largest theatre in the country, designed by architect Daniel Libeskind as part of the square’s redevelopment, with a striking angular exterior and a glass-fronted foyer looking onto the waterfront.

The programme is built around touring productions, including large-scale musicals, opera, ballet, concerts and comedy. The setting is part of the appeal, with the plaza, the canal basin and Docklands bars and restaurants all within a few minutes’ walk of the doors.
