Profile
Bray South Promenade Beach runs along the southern end of Bray seafront in County Wicklow, a shingle and stone strand backed by the town’s Victorian promenade and closed off at its far end by the bulk of Bray Head.
It is a popular spot for walking, sea swimming and simply watching the water, with cafes, shops and the start of the Bray to Greystones cliff walk all close at hand. The beach is easily reached on foot from the town centre and railway station. Swimmers should take care, as conditions and currents vary with the weather and tide.
