Burren Nature Sanctuary

Burren Nature Sanctuary is at Kinvara, County Galway, near the head of Galway Bay on the northern fringe of the Burren.

The sanctuary combines a working farm setting with walking trails through meadow, woodland and limestone ground, and is aimed squarely at families with younger children. Farm animals, planted and wild habitats and an indoor area with refreshments make it a dependable stop in changeable weather, and a gentle introduction to the plants and wildlife of the wider Burren region.
