Cadogan's Strand

Cadogan’s Strand is a small beach near Schull in west County Cork, tucked into the indented coastline of the Mizen Peninsula close to Roaringwater Bay.

It is a modest, sheltered spot rather than a broad strand — good for a swim, a picnic or an hour by the water while exploring the peninsula, with views out over the bay and its scatter of islands. There are few facilities, so it suits a quiet visit. Schull village is nearby for food, supplies and boat trips out to the islands.
