Profile
Cé Ailt an Chorráin, or Burtonport Harbour, is the working pier at Burtonport in the Rosses of County Donegal, in the Gaeltacht on the county’s Atlantic coast.
This is the main embarkation point for the ferry to Arranmore Island, and the harbour also serves fishing boats and smaller craft heading out among the scattered islands offshore. Even without a crossing to catch, the pier is a good place to watch boats come and go, with views over the sound and the low islands of the Rosses beyond.
