Cé Mhachaire Uí Rabhartaigh (Min Larach Harbour)

Cé Mhachaire Uí Rabhartaigh, the harbour at Magheraroarty in County Donegal, sits on the north-west coast of the Gweedore and Cloughaneely Gaeltacht, beside a long sandy strand.

It is best known as an embarkation point for boats to Tory Island, and trips also run to Inishbofin and the other islands offshore. The pier is a working one, used by local fishing boats as well as passenger craft. With Muckish and Errigal inland and the Atlantic ahead, the setting is one of the most striking on the Donegal coast.
