Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral stands on Christchurch Place in Dublin, County Dublin, and is one of the city’s oldest and most important buildings.

With origins in the medieval period and a long association with Dublin’s religious and civic life, the cathedral is now the Church of Ireland cathedral of the Dublin diocese. Visitors can take in the nave, the medieval crypt beneath the church and the monuments and treasures held there. Its position in the old heart of the city makes it a natural stop alongside the castle and the surrounding historic streets.
