Colla Pier

Colla Pier sits on the coast near Schull in County Cork, a small working pier on the sheltered waters of Roaringwater Bay.

It serves as an embarkation point for boat trips and ferries out to the islands off this stretch of the Mizen coast, and is also a pleasant place simply to look out over the bay, watch boats coming and going, or swim from the slip. Parking is limited and the approach roads are narrow. Sailings vary with season and weather, so check timetables with operators before travelling.
