Connemara Seaweed Baths

Connemara Seaweed Baths are located at Clifden, County Galway, the small town that serves as Connemara’s main centre and a base for touring the surrounding coast and mountains.

The seaweed bath is a traditional Irish coastal treatment, in which hot sea water and freshly gathered seaweed are used together to ease aching limbs and leave the skin soft. It is an unhurried, low-key experience rather than a clinical one, and pairs well with a day’s hillwalking, cycling or driving the Sky Road above the town.
