Coomanaspic

Coomanaspic is a high mountain pass at Coomanaspig, County Kerry, on the Skellig Ring near the far western tip of the Iveragh Peninsula. The narrow road climbs steeply to a gap in the ridge, with views down over the coast, the Atlantic and the islands lying offshore.

It is a favourite stop for photographers and birdwatchers, and a striking approach to the villages and harbours below. Drive with care on the steep, narrow sections and use the parking provided rather than stopping on the road.
