Profile
Corbett Court is a family-run restaurant and hospitality business in County Cork, made up of two venues that share a name, a menu tradition and a warm, sociable atmosphere. One sits at Ballyhea on the N20 Cork to Limerick road just south of Charleville, while the other stands at Kilworth, between Mitchelstown and Fermoy on the old Cork to Dublin road and a couple of minutes from the M8. Both are run by the Corbett family and have built a reputation for generous, traditional food and a genuinely friendly welcome, earning a series of food and service awards along the way.
Dining is at the heart of the experience. Each location offers a substantial menu across lunch and dinner, and the Kilworth venue also serves breakfast, from a full Irish to lighter, healthier choices. The restaurants are sizeable, with large main dining rooms alongside dedicated private function rooms, making them a popular choice for family gatherings, celebrations and events as well as everyday meals. In the colder months, wood-burning stoves add to the cosy feel.
What sets Corbett Court apart is its celebration of Irish sporting heritage. The Ballyhea venue features the Christy Ring bar, named after the legendary Cork hurler, where original pieces of sporting memorabilia are displayed for guests to enjoy over a drink. A function space also honours Vincent O’Brien, the celebrated racehorse trainer from nearby Churchtown in County Cork. With views towards the Ballyhoura Mountains from Ballyhea and easy access from the main roads at both sites, Corbett Court makes a comfortable stop for anyone travelling through the region.
