Cushendale Woollen Mills

Cushendale Woollen Mills stands on the river Duiske in Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny, in a town shaped by its abbey and its milling past.

The mill spins, weaves and finishes wool on the premises, producing blankets, throws, scarves and knitwear that are sold in the shop beside the working machinery. Visitors can often see something of the traditional processes still in use, which gives the shop an unusual sense of place.
