Drogheda Museum Millmount

Drogheda Museum Millmount sits within the Millmount complex on the high ground above the south bank of the Boyne in Drogheda, County Louth. The hilltop site has been fortified for centuries and is topped by a Martello tower that is a landmark across the town.

The museum’s collections cover Drogheda’s trades, guilds, military history and domestic life, and the surrounding courtyard buildings house craft workshops and places to eat. The viewpoint over the town and river is one of the best in Drogheda, and the Boyne Valley sites lie just upstream.
