Drumnatinney

Drumnatinney is a stretch of Atlantic beach near Falcarragh in County Donegal, on the north-west coast. Wide sand, dunes and open sky give it a spacious, elemental feel, with mountains inland and islands out to sea shaping the view in every direction.

It suits walking, beachcombing, surfing and simply sitting with the weather. Currents and swells on this coast can be strong, so take care in the water and heed any local signage. Bring warm clothing whatever the season, as the wind rarely rests for long here.
