Dublin City Hall

Dublin City Hall stands on Dame Street in the centre of Dublin, County Dublin, at the edge of the Dublin Castle complex. Built in the Georgian era as the Royal Exchange, it is one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the city.

The great domed rotunda, with its columns, mosaic floor and painted panels, is the highlight for visitors, and the building houses an exhibition on the story of Dublin’s civic government. It remains the meeting place of Dublin City Council and is also used for civil ceremonies and public events.
