Éalú Aran

Éalú Aran is based on Inisheer (Inis Oírr), the smallest of the Aran Islands, County Galway, offering visitors an organised activity and learning experience on the island.

Inisheer is a Gaeltacht community where Irish is the everyday language, and where stone walls, small fields and the surrounding Atlantic shape daily life. Guided experiences here give visitors more context than a self-directed wander around the island can. Reaching Inisheer means a ferry from Doolin or Ros a’ Mhíl, or a short flight, so plan the day’s timings carefully and check availability with the operator in advance.
