Fairy Bridges and Wishing Chair

The Fairy Bridges and Wishing Chair are natural sea rock formations on the cliffs at Bundoran, County Donegal, on the county’s southern coast.

Centuries of Atlantic weather have cut arches and hollows into the rock here, and the site has long been part of local folklore, giving both features their names. It is an easy walk from the town along the cliff path, with views out over the bay. Take care near the cliff edges and unfenced ground, particularly in wet or windy weather, and keep children close.
