Fenit

Fenit lies in the townland of Fenit Without, County Kerry, on the shore of Tralee Bay a short drive west of Tralee. It is a small coastal village and harbour settlement facing out towards the Atlantic and the Dingle Peninsula.

The surrounding bay and shoreline attract walkers, swimmers, boat users and birdwatchers, with waders and seabirds feeding along the tidal flats. Beaches, pier walks and water-based activities make it a popular spot in summer, while the views across the bay to the Slieve Mish mountains are worth the trip at any time of year.
