Geokaun Mountain

Geokaun Mountain is the highest point on Valentia Island, off the coast of County Kerry, and one of the finest viewpoints in the south west. From the summit area the outlook takes in the Skelligs, Dingle Bay, the Blasket Islands on a clear day and the dramatic Fogher Cliffs falling to the Atlantic below.

A road runs up the mountain with parking at several levels, so the views are reachable by car as well as on foot. Seabirds and coastal wildlife are frequently seen along the cliff edges.
