Gortavoher

Gortavoher is set above the Glen of Aherlow in County Tipperary, on the Slievenamuck ridge that forms the northern side of the glen. It is a forest and walking area, with trails through the woodland and open ground looking south.

The outlook is the main draw, taking in the length of the glen with the Galtee Mountains rising beyond. Woodland and upland edge here support a good range of birds, and the walking suits both short strolls and longer routes on the wider Glen of Aherlow trail network.
