Profile
Set at the St James’s Gate brewery in Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse is among Ireland’s best-known visitor attractions. Its exhibition floors trace how the black stuff is made, from barley, hops, water and yeast through to the advertising and design that made the harp and the toucan famous the world over.
Most visits finish at the rooftop Gravity Bar, where a pint comes with a panorama across the city and the hills beyond. Tastings, pouring sessions and a range of food and drink options are part of the experience, and tickets are usually booked in advance.
