Inishowen Maritime Museum & Planetarium

The Inishowen Maritime Museum & Planetarium sits by the harbour in Greencastle, County Donegal, a fishing port at the mouth of Lough Foyle. Its displays trace the seafaring life of the peninsula, from local fishing traditions and shipwrecks to emigration and coastal rescue, drawing on the working port just outside the door.

The attached planetarium runs shows under a domed screen, covering the night sky, navigation by the stars and the wider universe. There are refreshments on site, making it an easy stop on a day around the Inishowen coast.
