Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School

The Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School operates from Dun Laoghaire in south County Dublin, a large harbour with a long sailing tradition and sheltered water for learning.

Courses cover sailing and powerboating for beginners and improvers, including junior programmes, adult classes and recognised certification, with boats and equipment provided. Instruction takes place on Dublin Bay, so even a first lesson comes with views back to the city and out towards Howth. It suits visitors who fancy a few hours afloat as much as those working towards qualifications.
