Kells

Kells is a coastal spot near Cahersiveen on the Iveragh peninsula in County Kerry, on the Ring of Kerry route overlooking Dingle Bay. Its sheltered bay and sandy strand make it a place for swimming and time by the water, with wide views north across the bay to the Dingle peninsula.

As with all Irish sea swimming, conditions depend on tide and weather, so check locally before entering the water. The setting alone, between mountain and sea, justifies the stop.
