Knockreer House and Gardens

Knockreer House and Gardens sits within Killarney National Park in County Kerry, a short walk from the centre of Killarney town.

The grounds are laid out with lawns, mature trees and garden planting, opening onto sweeping views towards the lakes and the mountains beyond. Paths through the estate are popular for gentle walking, and the mix of woodland, open grass and water nearby attracts a good variety of birdlife. Because it is so close to the town, it is one of the easiest parts of the national park to reach on foot, and works well for a short outing.
