Lily of Killarney Watercoach

The Lily of Killarney Watercoach offers cruises on the Lakes of Killarney, departing from Ross Castle near Killarney, County Kerry. The enclosed boat carries passengers out onto Lough Leane, the largest of the lakes, with commentary on the islands, castle, woodland and mountains along the way.

It is an undemanding way to see a landscape that is otherwise best appreciated on foot or by jaunting car, and the covered seating makes it workable in Kerry’s changeable weather. Sailings are seasonal, so check times before travelling.
