Lisfannon

Lisfannon lies just outside Fahan in County Donegal, on the eastern shore of Lough Swilly at the foot of the Inishowen peninsula. The area is best known for its long sandy strand and the sheltered waters of the lough, backed by dunes and links land.

It is a popular spot for swimming, paddling and shoreline walks, with wide views across the water to the hills of Fanad. Birdlife along the lough shore rewards a quiet stroll, and the setting is easily reached from Buncrana and Derry alike.
