Magilligan Point View

Magilligan Point View is a coastal viewpoint at Greencastle in County Donegal, on the eastern side of the Inishowen peninsula where Lough Foyle meets the open sea. From here the water narrows towards Magilligan Point on the County Derry shore opposite.

The outlook takes in the shipping channel, the sweep of the lough and the hills beyond, with seabirds and, at times, dolphins in the tidal waters. It is an easy stop while exploring Greencastle, Inishowen Head and the surrounding stretch of coast.
