Malahide Castle and Gardens

Malahide Castle and Gardens occupies a large demesne on the edge of Malahide village in north County Dublin. The castle was home to the Talbot family for centuries, and guided tours take in its historic rooms, while the grounds hold extensive parkland, walking trails and the walled botanic gardens.

There is a visitor centre with a cafe and shop, and the estate hosts events and outdoor concerts through the year. It is reachable by DART from the city centre, which makes it an easy half-day out.
