Malin Head

Malin Head is the most northerly point on the island of Ireland, at the tip of the Inishovwen peninsula in County Donegal. The headland at Banba’s Crown carries an old signal tower and weather station, with paths leading out across the cliffs and rocky ground.

The views take in the Atlantic, the coast of Inishowen and, on clear days, distant islands and headlands. It is a fine place for seabirds and for watching the weather come in off the ocean, and guided activities are available locally.
