MC Research

MC Research is a genealogy and family history service based in Castlebellingham, County Louth, working with people who want to trace Irish ancestors and understand where their family came from.

Ancestral research of this kind typically draws on parish and civil records, census returns, land and estate papers, gravestone inscriptions and emigration records, piecing together names, dates and townlands into a documented family story. For anyone with roots in Louth or elsewhere in Ireland, it offers a way to turn scattered family memories into researched findings before visiting the places involved.
