Molly Gallivan's Cottage and Traditional Farm

Molly Gallivan’s Cottage and Traditional Farm sits at Releagh in County Kerry, on the upland road between Kenmare and Glengarriff. The old cottage and surrounding farmland show how a mountain smallholding in this part of Ireland once worked.

Visitors can look around the traditional house, walk the farm and hillside, and see something of the crafts and daily routines of rural life before mechanisation. There is a craft and food shop on site along with refreshments. The elevated setting gives wide views over the surrounding mountains and bog country.
