Narin-Portnoo Strand

Narin-Portnoo Strand is a broad sandy beach on the west Donegal coast, in the Donegal area of County Donegal, between the villages of Narin and Portnoo.

The strand is a favourite for swimming, paddling and long walks, with shallow water and a wide expanse of sand at low tide. It is a straightforward, family-friendly stretch of coast where the main attractions are the sea, the sand and the view out across the bay. Conditions change with wind and tide, so it is worth checking the water before going in.
