North West Surf School

North West Surf School is based at Enniscrone in County Sligo, where a long sandy beach on Killala Bay has made the village a favourite for learning to surf. The school runs lessons for beginners and improvers, with boards, wetsuits and coaching provided.

The wide, gently shelving strand gives a forgiving place to find your feet, and instructors will read the day’s conditions before deciding where to put a group in the water. Lessons suit families, groups and solo visitors alike; book ahead, particularly in summer and at weekends.
