Oideas Gael

Oideas Gael is an Irish language and cultural centre at Straid, County Donegal, running courses and activity holidays in the south-west of the county.

Programmes combine learning Irish with cultural pursuits, so time in the classroom sits alongside music, walking and other activities in the surrounding landscape. Learners come at every level, from complete beginners to fluent speakers looking to sharpen their Ulster Irish. It is an immersive way to spend time in a Gaeltacht area where the language is still spoken day to day.
