Portmagee Harbour

Portmagee Harbour is the working pier at the heart of Portmagee village, County Kerry, tucked into the channel between the mainland and Valentia Island. Fishing boats and tour vessels share the quayside, and the brightly painted houses along the waterfront make it one of the most photographed corners of the Iveragh Peninsula.

The harbour is the main embarkation point for boat trips towards the Skellig Islands and the surrounding waters, weather permitting. Even without a sailing, it is a pleasant place to walk, watch the boats and take in the coastline.
