Powerscourt Waterfall

Powerscourt Waterfall drops from a cliff face at Longhill Commons in County Wicklow and is the highest waterfall in Ireland. Fed by the River Dargle, it tumbles down a rock face into a wooded valley ringed by mature trees and mountain slopes.

The site is laid out for visitors, with parking, walking paths, picnic tables and space for children to run about. It is a short drive from Enniskerry and makes an easy half-day outing, particularly after heavy rain when the fall is at its most dramatic.
