Radharc na mBlascaodaí (Blaskets View)

Radharc na mBlascaodaí, the Blaskets View, is a coastal viewpoint at Coumeenoole South on the western tip of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. Looking out across the Blasket Sound, it takes in the Great Blasket and the smaller islands scattered beyond it, with the Atlantic breaking on the rocks below.

It is a short stop rather than a full outing, popular with walkers, photographers and anyone following the coast road. Seabirds are constant company, and seals and dolphins are sometimes visible offshore. Bring a windproof jacket: the exposure here is real, and the weather changes quickly.
