Sir John Gray Monument

The Sir John Gray Monument stands on O’Connell Street in Dublin’s north city, one of the line of statues running along the capital’s main thoroughfare. The white marble figure commemorates Sir John Gray, a nineteenth-century Dublin figure remembered for his part in bringing a piped water supply to the city.
