The Arranmore Ferry

The Arranmore Ferry runs from Burtonport in west County Donegal, the embarkation point for the crossing to Árainn Mhór, the largest inhabited island off the Donegal coast.

The short passage across the sound is part of the appeal, with views of the smaller islands scattered through the channel and the chance of seabirds and marine life along the way.
