Profile
The Brazen Head sits on Bridge Street in Dublin, near the Liffey and Christ Church, and is widely described as Ireland’s oldest pub, with a licence tradition its owners trace back to 1198.
The cobbled courtyard, low-beamed rooms and open fires make it a memorable spot for a pint, and traditional music and storytelling evenings are a regular fixture. It is well known and often busy with visitors, so arriving early in the evening is the surest way to get a seat by the fire.
