The Four Provinces

The Four Provinces is a pub in Kimmage, County Dublin, in the suburbs south-west of the city centre. It serves drinks and food to a largely local crowd, in the tradition of the substantial suburban houses built to serve Dublin’s growing neighbourhoods.

Expect sport on the screens, a lounge and bar, and the sort of unhurried atmosphere found away from the tourist streets. Its name refers to the four historic provinces of Ireland: Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Ulster.
