Profile
The James Joyce Centre stands on North Great George’s Street in the Rotunda area of Dublin’s north inner city, in a restored Georgian townhouse. It is devoted to the life and work of James Joyce and to the Dublin that fills his writing.
Exhibitions, talks and walking tours help readers approach Ulysses, Dubliners and the rest of the work, whether they know it well or are starting from scratch. The centre is also central to the city’s Bloomsday celebrations each June, when Joyce’s Dublin takes over the streets.
