Profile
The Lobster Pot is in Burtonport, the busy little fishing harbour in west Donegal where the ferries leave for Arranmore Island. Its name points to what the village is known for: boats landing shellfish and white fish within sight of the door.
The kitchen leans on local produce, with seafood the obvious draw, though there is usually plenty on the menu for those who would rather eat something from the land. Handy for a meal either side of an island crossing, or after a day on the Rosses coast.
