The National Leprechaun Museum

The National Leprechaun Museum, in Dublin’s north city centre near Jervis Street, is devoted to Irish folklore and mythology, with the leprechaun as its best-known ambassador. It is a storytelling museum rather than a case-and-label one: guides lead groups through a series of themed rooms, some of them playing with scale and perspective.

Daytime tours suit families, while separate evening sessions cover darker adult folklore. It offers a genuine introduction to Ireland’s oral storytelling tradition, delivered with a light touch and a good deal of fun.
