The Raven

The Raven at Curracloe in County Wexford is a stretch of coastal woodland and dunes on the county’s eastern shore, running alongside the long sandy sweep of Curracloe beach.

Forest paths lead through pine plantation to the dunes and the sea, and the area is known for its birdlife and quiet, open feel. It suits walking, birdwatching and beachcombing, and it is easily reached from Wexford town. Sturdy footwear is sensible, as the sandy tracks and dune paths can be soft going in places.
