The Woodturning Studio

The Woodturning Studio in Gorey, County Wexford, is a working craft studio where timber is shaped on the lathe into bowls, vessels and other turned pieces.

Studios of this kind commonly combine a workshop with a small shop, and often offer classes or demonstrations for those who want to try the craft themselves or simply watch a piece take shape. It makes an appealing stop for anyone interested in Irish craft, whether buying a handmade piece or learning the fundamentals of turning. Contact the studio for course dates and opening times.
